How it is done

Dental implants, are routinely done on patients all over the world by dental surgeons. This being so the procedure has four distinct phases where at any time anything can go wrong preventing the success of the operation. The first phase has the tooth extracted and a titanium post or pin is implanted onto the bone of that same tooth. Then comes a relaxation phase, where the bone and tissue surrounding that post is given a time to heal and accept the implant. Following would be the phase where a plug or foundation media is formed for the last phase the crown to adhere onto.
